Smart City Initiatives

Being located in Hong Kong, a metropolitan city with high mobile phone and Internet penetration, CTTC-HK is poised to develop state-of-the-art wireless and wireline communications technologies that help transform the city into a “smart” one. We believe a Smart City should benefit not only those who are tech-savvy but the general public, including the elderly people and children in every aspect of daily life. To fulfill this challenging task, we perform world-class collaborative R&D works of core technologies that cover:
